Getting Started With Your Oceanfront Wedding
Now that I have listed a few fantastic options to get you started in your oceanfront wedding planning process, make sure you take the time to look through all the galleries and see what kind of setting calls to you. Remember, this is your day and everything has to be to your liking. Number one suggestion when planning an oceanfront wedding, make sure you have a rain plan! The weather is very unpredictable at times and this is a common mistake that gets missed when planning any outdoor wedding. You don’t want to plan the perfect day and have everything go amiss because of a storm.
Oceanfront wedding venues in Maine are the first to be booked and are typically booked a year in advance so give yourself time to ensure you get a spot. For example, if your wedding is not to occur for another year or two I would start looking and book a spot now. Trust me when I say there is nothing harder than finding your dream wedding and they don’t have your date available. Worry about the other vendors AFTER you secure your dream venue.
Beach weddings in Maine are breathtaking as I said before. There is something so serene about being married on the beach or any oceanfront wedding venue for that matter. Like lake weddings there isn’t a lot of decoration planning involved because nature is your decoration and background and it really doesn’t get much better than that. If you are wondering where to start with planning your oceanfront wedding start with choosing your venue. I’ve always said, it’s about the feeling you get when you’re there, like trying on wedding dresses when you know you know. So take the step, call and make a visit.
Get carried away in the bliss of planning. Planning ocean front weddings are a lot of fun. 🙂
